Some things really are awe-inspiring as is the case with Hoover Dam in Nevada. This cement wall holds back enough water to irrigate roughly 2 million acres…impressive!

Florida Birds, Oh My!
Birds, not really my “thing”. The mighty scavengers that sit atop garbage dumps, dive bomb uncovered trash cans, or drop “presents” on my car. Can’t say I have ever been a big fan…and then we visited Florida. Birds there are exotic and big — with big personalities. These are birds I can appreciate!
