Name that fish. Well, you have a bit of a head start as it is in the title of this post, but go for it — yes, Norwegian klippfisk! Norwegian klippfisk is a dried, salted cod that is the old/new darling of northwest Norway. It was also once one of Norway’s most important exports.
Olaf from the Disney movie Frozen is one of my favorite movie characters. His unfaltering optimism is refreshing in a world where many lean the other way. So, when Spaceman and I were in Balestrad, Norway, I couldn’t believe our good fortune to stumble upon the church where Olaf came to life, St Olaf’s Church – also known as The English Church.

We marched through the streets of Bergen, a slight smile and steady determination guiding Spaceman, heading to one of Bergen’s most popular (and anticipated) tourist destinations, the Fløibanen (funicular) to take us to the top of Mount Fløyen.
