Amara Kitchen — A New Standard for Lunch in Los Angeles

Amara_WindowIn a nondescript section of Avenue 64 in the Highland Park area of Los Angeles, a new standard for lunch has arrived cushioned within the walls of Amara Kitchen.

Amara_InsideHere you find an eclectic blend of french bistro – hipster casual decor and all kinds of yum! They specialize in organic fare with much of the ingredients being locally grown and cater to the paleo, vegan and gluten-free diets (which hits just about everyone). They also serve specialty coffee and teas along with tonics. The one I am craving these days is their Magical Rose Iced Tea. It somehow gives you a perk without the caffeine…magic!

Amara_MealWhen I was there I had the smashed avocado toast with poached eggs on top and a side of prosciutto.

Amara_OutsideThe place has a small indoor seating area and a few tables outside to enjoy the LA sunshine. There is ample free easy parking too so head on over. You won’t be sorry you did.
